Please! Who the heck have you been talking to? I have’nt noticed this type of reaction with hispanics. As a white hispanic, I have a rather unique view of things. At the worst, some hispanics may struggle a bit with the English language, but not in the way that you put it. You need to widen your circle of contacts to get a more better view of what’s going on.

I work with many Latinos and I’ve never noticed any nervous behavior when they interact with whites. Oh, and by the way I’m Black and I have never used the words "yo, what’s up homie" to anyone. Actually, I don’t know any Black people who talk like that and I’ve probably had more interactions with them than you have. It sounds damn corny and stupid if you ask me.
