My birthday is soon, and what I want is a book to learn Latin. I want one that is easy to work with and understand and is good at including vocab and grammar. I just need to know some actual titles to ask for. Any suggestions? Thanks so much for your help.

Try Adler’s Practical grammar – you can find a link to it on the latinum podcast, http://latinum.mypodcast.com, which also has audio lessons from the textbook.
