To speak latin or mandarin chinese?

Okay so i asked a similar question before and have decide to either take a year of latin or mandarin chinese. Latin because it will help me understand the english language better and help in SATs. Mandarin chinese because it really helps in business. If I only have one year to learn part of the language which would be better?
I am guessing latin but what do you think?

    I’d recommend Latin. It would not only help with English, but other languages as well, such as Spanish, Italian, and French. Studying Latin would give you a good foundation in these languages if you choose to study them at a later date and would greatly deepen your understanding of English. The better you understand your own language, the easier it is to understand any foreign languages you may decide to study in the future.

    If you plan on doing business or traveling, then mandarin chinese. If you plan on studying ancient texts from Europe, then Latin.

    i recommend Mandarin, as which is more practiacal and could benefit your business.

    How will Chinese help you in business? Let the Chinese learn English.

    mandarin,China’s international status has been a huge difference,and will more and more important in the whole world.
