I have heard many English songs sung in a Latin Romance language(Italian,Spanish,French, Portuguese,Romanian)by famous American & European singers and I think that music sounds so much more pleasant & beautiful in any Latin Romance language.English is by first language by the way,but I also speak Italian & Spanish and speak from personal experiences.

What is the closet language to latin?

I already know the answer to this question but, I want to know if my fellow yahoo people know it :) remember that the closet languages to latin are the romance languages.. spainsh, italian, french, portuguese, and romanian.

according to the Romanian Dictionary & Pharsebook it states "In the Latin linguistic family, composed of nine languages, Romanian has the fifth numerical place, after Italian, French, Spanish, and Portuguese." So what is left other than English?

Basically what the question asks. Have you ever used the computer based language software Rosetta Stone to learn Spanish or another Latin based language like French, Italian, or Portuguese? How long did you use it, did you complete all or most of the lessons/levels, and did it work for you?

If you've used it for another language like German or Dutch feel free to answer but I'm planning on using it for Spanish or one of the other major Romance languages.

I mean people in the US talk about latin americans as other race. And being latin american means "to live in a country in america where people talk a latin language (spanish, portuguese, italian, french or romanian). I'm from Argentina, and I'm white. Here you can also find mestizos or white. But being latin american is not a race. Do you understand what I say?
Please, don't get angry americans. I don't hate any american. In fact I think peoplein the USA is so friendly. I just wanted to know what is the idea you have about latin american. And let me tell you that I'm sorry if somebody feel angry with this

Help? Please? Is it Spanish, Italian, French, Portuguese, or Romanian?
