Which is best to learn, Latin of Greek?

Hi there.

I've just spent some time online and found it most interesting how English comes from Latin and Greek and I'd like very much to learn more about these languages, maybe even get to speak them one day. But I know that Latin is a dying langauge which is pretty sad all things considered. So, what do you reacon? Is Greek easier to learn? Should I try finding a Latin teacher? Or am I simply wasting my time? Thanks everyone.

Alright, I want this tattoo saying "love always remains" but I'm not sure if I should get it in Latin or in English. And since I don't speak Latin, it would suck to have someone translate it wrong but if a Latin teacher or someone who speaks it well can help, that'd be great. I'm planning on getting it, pretty small, on my inner wrist in either cursive, newspaper-style font, or Old English/Gothic. Thanks so much!!

What is the best way to learn Latin fast?

When I was in 9th grade I was put in a Latin I course. The teacher always just gave us the answers when we tried to work and I learned very little. Now, in 11th grade, our school has a new Latin teacher. He is very strict and expects everyone to know 1st year Latin well. I don't know it at all. I need some way to learn it in a month or so, so I can get caught up...
