I am learning Spanish (Spain) from Rosetta Stone, and I want to know is that still good Spanish to talk in Latin America. Like the Spanish language spoken in Spain, can be spoken in Mexico, or Honduras?
If there are differences in the Spanish language between those 2 regions, are they understandable to communicate in either region (Spain and / Latin America)?

Latin America Nationlist during the 18th + 19th centuries:

-Identify the action or region where, the person led a nationist movement

- Describe the historical backgroung leading up to the nationalist movement

- describe how the action of the leader have influence the region or nation in which the movement took place

write a short journal entry relating what ideas come to mind when you think of latin america. what is your opion or what have you heard about the latin american countries. what do you kno specifically about the coountry Peru?

And of course, will I be able to understand those in all of Latin America? Also, will I be understood in Spain?

What exactly is "la raza" supposed to mean? Last time I checked, there is no such thing as a "Latin American race". You've got countries like Mexico which are predominantly mestizo, then you've got countries which are predominantly Amerindian like Guatemala, some which are mostly mulatto like the Dominican Republic and Cuba, as well as some which are predominantly white like Argentina and Uruguay. Even within these countries, not everyone is of the majority race; for example, I was surprised when I went to southern Mexico and met black Mexicans. The point is, if Latin America is not racially homogenous, why do people talk about "la raza"? All this talk about "latinos unidos" is baloney! I live in southern California and have seen hatred between Mexicans and Guatemalans, as well as growing up on the east coast I saw Puerto Ricans who hated Mexicans and vice-versa. It seems to me that they only want to be "la raza" to differentiate themselves from non-Hispanic Americans.
If that's the case Seabiscuit, then I guess I'm part of "la raza" too.

For example.. "I love _____", do I write "_____um amo."? (since -um is the accusative singular masculine ending? and then -am if the noun is singular feminine?)

Does Latin America and Spain speak the same way or is it a different dialect; sort of like America and UK?

Some one told me that people still speak Latin in certain parts of Latin America. Is this true ?

Also in the USA or in Latin America do you have to know both Spanish and English to do certain jobs like nursing?
