It's pretty funny! It seems than Tintin (another cartoon is also available in latin): de sigaris pharaonis and de isola negra... But the best is you type "asterix latin" in http://www.amazon.com 's query and you will find them... That's all I can think about... I'm guessing it was ecclesiastical (church) Latin, which has a slightly different pronunciation. I also know there are several children's books (Winnie the Pooh and Cat in the Hat, for example) that have been printed in Latin.
