I know there are those that say the best way to learn Latin is Wheelocks text and workbook. Does anyone know of something similar to that out there to help a person learn spanish?

The EU is getting larger and larger. Communication is very important. What do you think about choosing Latin, for example, as the language of business, education and government within the European Union? Of course the individual countries would maintain their traditional languages, minority languages and dialects. It just seems that it would in the long run be easier to get things done if there was a common language. Everyone in the Union could after a generation or so be able to understand each other no matter where in the Union they were living, working or visiting. The children could begin learning Latin in the 1st grade or even preschool, like many in Scandinavia, for example, learn English at a young age.

Second question: If the government wanted to change the official way of writing Farsi in Iran from perso-arabic writing to latin letters, would you then support it?

some degrees say you need to learn Spanish for a degree. Others say you need to know Latin for the terms of what they use for medical.
I also need to know which language I should take before college.

I'd like to learn salsa or latin dance, but I can't find any place I could learn it, except Northampton, MA and that's too far. I live in Claremont, NH, which is a little less than two hours north. For Christmas 2005, I gave my younger sister a latin dance DVD and she apparently has no interest.

It's actually 'dream of demons while you sleep, that make you stutter when you speak.' Sorry
I've always wanted these lyrics tattooed on me somewhere in Latin, but i would never trust a tattoo artist to spell it all right with all the right grammar and things, nor am i 100 percent convinced that online translators actually work properly. Can anyone help, even if its just if you have an idea how i would go about doing it properly. ?????

I would like to learn Latin for my legal studies. Since all the legal maxims are in Latin so I'm looking for a quick way to learn Latin which enables me not to rely on the English translation. I know English, Arabic and Urdu.

To pronounce Latin for the purposes of pharmacology, I've always been told to use either a "northern Continental Europe" pronunciation or an "English method" pronunciation.
If I were to choose but ONE of the aforementioned pronunciations to use in the field of medicine, which would be the better of the two?

How does someone go about learning latin? I've seen some websites but they're just some beginners things.
I read somewhere it improves your grammar too, because to learn to speak it you'll need to learn how to construct sentences.
Is it impossible for me to learn it if I'm not amazing with english in terms of sentence structures, recognising the object of the sentence or whatever?
Also, does anyone know any websites or books etc which would cover just about all of it. And anyone here learnt latin?
Any information would be appreciated.

How is the sentence below written in Latin?
When worthy girl met the boy who can hear God, little wise boy came to this earth.
Thank you for your help.
I want another translation too.
"God's greatest achievement"
how's the sentence above written in Latin?
Thanks for the translation but I will use this sentence in my new tattoo and want it really true. You told that it might be somehow confusing. I wanted that sentence to be like a sentence in literature masterpieces.

This is a novel idea. Let's all people in the world learn how to speak Latin, then we communicate digitally without a language barrier!!! Agree or Disagree

Prospector as in someone who prospects for minerals in mining.
